WASHINGTON STATE ADOPT-A-HIGHWAY
The Inland Empire Section of ASCE has adopted a two mile portion of Interstate 90 from mile marker 275 to 277. This section is located just west of Spokane between the Geiger Exit and the Medical Lake Exit. American Society of Civil Engineers name will be posted on the Adopt a Highway signs.
We are responsible for picking up trash on the outside medians three times a year. Our first cleanups were on May 8th and May 22nd. It took about 3 to 4 hours each time. We will be doing another round of cleanups sometime late July or August. Please contact the Section Officers or email email@example.com if you are interested in helping with this community service.
NATIONAL SCIENCE BOWL
Volunteer officials are needed for the High School National Science Bowl. The Inland Empire Regional competiion is scheduled for Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Whitworth University, with a practice session on February 8, 2017. See the Calendar of Events.
